tried getting it off jeff and couldn't lol. I don't want to force it anymore and bust it as i'm using the switch with my 19b and it's working well but very stiff.

Mev thanks mine`s the same. Just waiting now for my 18500 batteries to arrive , so I can use it with the `kick`.

Are you still making that `zapper`, just ordered a "Hercules", (Ithaka copy) from Vapor Freak.de, so may need one later, if I cannot master the wire connecting by `twisting method`.

yes mate, you can click my banner below to order one.. I am using my ithaka without the kick and it kicks ass mate using low ohm coils.

I have just taken the 8w switch apart, I cut a slot into the head on the inside post so I could use a screw driver on it. It came out easily enough but it had been glued.

If you hold the switch down onto a desk (or something) pushing the switch down, the center post pops out enough to use an hacksaw to cut a slot into it.

I followed your instructions Mev, and the `fecking screw` sheared off leaving the threads in the button plate (disaster).

Drilled out the "GLUED" (extra FFing strong) broken threads, found a screw, fiddled out the broken threaded piece, and found a weaker spring.

Assembled it all back together, "IT WORKS", now with slightest touch it fires every time.

More luck than skill in this mod.

Peeps if you intend to do this be warned that screw is GLUED in SOLID, take extra care.

Now a happy vaper again.

Not had a chance to use it yet as my current set up is too low ohms but I'm looking forward to a rebuild and a chance to try it tomorrow.
