Ok so I've been trying to get this Aga-T2 up and running and I'm just not getting very far, I've tried the uwick method with silica and I've tried using mesh.
Silica: It won't wick, it just dries up straight away, is there an easier way to use silica? Does it have something to do with the post with the screw in it?
Mesh: Whatever i do, one of two things happen. 1. The coil pops as soon as hit the fire button, between the centre post and the top of the mesh. 2. Vamo says 'LO', the resistance reading seems to jump between 0.7/0.8, 1.4/1,5, 3.0/3.1 and 4.9.
Can't seem to figure out why it's happening. The RSST set up first time, took me a few minutes, I've spent hours with the Aga and I managed one average mouthful of vapour and that's it.

Hmm, I got an AGA-T2 last weekend, I'm on my second coil with a silica wick 3mm, and it's working tolerably well ATM. Maybe I'm just lucky, or you are unlucky. I'm prepared to persevere to get the right vape, altough it has a fantastic taste thang going on, just need to wick more quickly (mesh, here I come!), but the coil is showing 1.5ohm on my Vamo, so all is well there. dannyw14 The AGA-T is amongst the hardest of all atty`s to get to function correctly. So many things to get `spot on`, it is only by trying set ups that eventually you will get the `knack` of doing so. I took 3 weeks of trying but ended up in getting great results. Use your RSST to enjoy your vaping, and at same time keep setting up the AGA. Watch the video`s again it`s amazing what you miss first or second time around. "Practice makes perfect", you WILL conquer it. Good Luck. jeffc

Tried with ekowool but just ended up with a small heap of fibres.
Guess that my wick is too big (Insert appropriate comment here)
Trying again I've got an ok cape using a cable wick and ribbon wire.
For me the next step will be switching out the centre post screws for a spring and washer. This is supposed to help reduce the hot spots at the top of your coil by reducing the gap between your wick and the centre post.
There's an excellent thread on here somewhere that shows you how to do a U wick with silica. It was my very first set up and worked a treat.

That would be the one. Todd even made a video demonstrating it. (One reason he now has a million views on his channel, I had it on repeat whilst trying to copy)
