I have read the instructions and am not sure what I'm doing really.
I have watched a video or two but it is going too quick for mte. Is there anywhere it is written out, in idiots guide fashion? Am not really understand the difference between volts and watts and whatvto do really.

Hi siffy it can be a bit daunting at first. Take a look at the first post in this thread for a 'starter' on volts & watts

@oneday, yes I have seen that, great.
So I can choose the volts setting on my device. The bit that I can't understand is at what point it allows me to input my atty type, then can recommend a setting for me. I will do a google search.

Just start at 3.5 volts, have a vape then go up in 0.1 volt increments until you find the "sweet spot" don't go above 4.8 volts.

If you go up in increments as Des suggests and the juice starts to taste burnt, you've gone too high and need to dial it down a tad

What I mean is at what point do I tell my device what atty type I am using? . Also have just pressed the + - button. It tells me... A2.6...So atty? U4.1....is this my current setting or recommend? 7 Then if I press again it say 7 U3.9 Am just a bit confuzzled.

I don't think you have to "tell" your MVP what atty your using, the "A 2.6" is actually R 2.6 R is for resistance so it's telling you the resistance of the atty is 2.6 ohms The "U" is actually V for battery voltage, you have a fully charged battery in there at 4.1 volts The V 3.9 is possibly the battery voltage under load? .... don't worry about it it's just techno stuff for those that want this sort of information, just get on and enjoy the vape from it!

Yes, just checked on a on line manual it says
With it's built in digit disolay itaste will automatically identify atty ohm and provide best recommend operating volt to match.
So have worked out A2.6 is recommend a 4.1 setting..got it now.
Just now will fiddle and word out how to change my v to 4.1, to see if I like. At least it stops me going to high and getting that crap burnt taste, I can still taste that in my flavour memories..pants!
I think I am getting there, slowly but surley....

Did it!
Just brilliant, so pleased. The 4.1 setting is lush, added bonus when I charge this I will press set the spinner dial to 4.1 and stop all that sodding around. I am a lazy vapour, other things to be doing, fish to be frying, literally;)

Yay 4.1v on a 2.6 atty will give about 6.5 watts, which isn't particularly high. When you're relaxed and have a bit of time to play, it would be worth trying 4.2, 4.3, etc up to about 4.5 and see how each works for you

I think because I had a good few days of microwaving my juice, without realising that's what I'd done it has put me on the side of caution. Once I get my confidence back I will play, thanks @oneday, you have helped me lots of times

Glad to help siffy. One more helpful tip - if you hover your mouse over my screen name in my mini profile over there <---- you'll see why your tags to me don't work
