I've just had a short stay in Sharoe Green hospital in Preston. When I was checking in on Thursday morning, I asked the nurse what the hospital regulations were on e-cigs. She informed me there had been a meeting about it the day before and the management had decided to stop allowing the use of them with all the uncertainty with the mhra. They had always allowed them until then and I was just unlucky. The news hadn't got round to all the wards though, I asked another nurse later and she just said yes, carry on. I didn't want to get anyone in trouble though so I vaped on the sly when no one was about. There's been threads before about being allowed to vape in hospitals but I think they'll all be banned until we know the final outcome.

I was born there! I think stealth vaping will be the norm most places - I do it already in cinemas and stuff. If you're stealthy, they can't tell or stop you!

Stealth vaping - discreet vaping in toilets...in a cubicle with the lights off behind the bed...
Yeah it's banned in A+E here even though as far as I know there's no official stance from the powers that be

Mrs G-J was actively encouraged on her ward, especially as they couldn't let her leave it due to being hooked up to allsorts, she even had a juice-taste session with one of the nurses who's a new vaper and it looks like we've converted another couple of them When she's finally out of ITU/HDU she'll be back on the same ward

Thank you, it was nothing life threatening, I've had a disc removed from my back. I've had back problems for a few years but this last time, I was off work for 3 months with it.

Och pants...... Hope you feel better soon Blue I had a run in (bad) with A+E this am....Got up on hardly any sleep cos like toe that I did who knows what to last week was swollen and unable to weight bare. Got there for just after 6am. Got told to come back to minor injuries at 9.30...Went back...Looked at it - prodded it - not even an x ray and said 'we don't do anything for broken toes - take paracetamol - actually, no, it's not infected. Go back to GP if worse in 2-3 weeks time' I'm like 'I never take paracetamol unless pain is unbearable and like then it doesn't work'...wasn't happy....why didn't they tell me that at 6am? Of course the NHS is corrupt so no point in complaining.....Got arnica....working wonders
