Roll on Monday!

Starting tomorrow, our village descends into a state of insanity.
It happens every year with Friday being the day to start setting up the Annual Church Fete and Saturday morning filling tables to overflowing with home made goodies to tempt us calorie counting fatties to throw away the last 6 months of starvation!

Then on Saturday evening the whole caboodle moves 100 yards up the road to be set up again for the Rosneath Highland Games.

This is when my Sunday Morning lie in takes a hike because the Village Green, right in front of our house, becomes the practice area for Tartan Nickered Octopuses to get thrown over Kilted Gentlemen's shoulders and squeezed to distraction while emitting squeals and groans in the name of Scottish Music.

Now where did I leave that suitcase?

Time to head for faraway places.
Well till Monday at least!!!

Oh well, I suppose it is better than my more usual alarm clock noise!

As well as the setting up in the church grounds today, the village has been treated to the sounds of scores of hedge trimmers and lawn mowers trying to make it look pretty (???) for the hoards of tourists expected to descend upon us for the weekend.

The most I have done today is put a new battery in my Zmax and refilled my Viva Nova.
Way too hot for any more effort.

Aye and the winner was the one that was still standing at close of play!
