Ok so I probably should know this already but how do you know when it's time to change coils on clearo's.
I ask as I'm using CE5's at the moment and haven't changed a coil yet thinkingsmileytaste and vape all seem to be ok still though, I do clean them after about the 4th fill and rotate them quite regularly but even so it's been 3 months now and I'm still on original coils.
I'm thinking they gonna need chaging pretty soon but was wondering what others experiances are ?
I have bought some Evod a likes from Fastech which I'm sort of using but find them a little too airy (Bit like sucking on silk cut extra) so don't use them anywhere near as much as the CE5 clearos.

Just keep doing what you are doing, anyone who can keep a CE5 head going that long must be divinely blessed So long as it works alright, then why change them? Wait til they stop working (either entirely, or just a severe drop off in performance )

3 months is exceptional. I can sense dull/spicy taste on a clearo coil after just a week (sometimes less). Depends on the juice etc.
I would personally dry burn a clearo head before throwing it away or rebuilding it. If it doesn't come up well, I bin it (the coil, not the whole head) as anything gunky/blackened/dirty has had it i.m.o.
Good for you though.

Many of my CE5's have been going longer than 3 months and I rarely clean them. Indeed all of them have been put through the ultra sound cleaner only once. I only use the same e-juice in each one.
I know when they need cleaned. They become harder to draw on and need several short sooks before a proper inhale.

If you are finding the evod to airy, block up one or two of the air holes in the "skirt" with candle wax or break off a cocktail stick in the hole, when you have found a good draw you can make it more permanent with a drop or two of super glue

Oh and update - I should have kep't my mouth shut .... first coil blew today and of course it happened when I didn't have a spare on me . Typical.
