On the whole, the protank is a very good option for no nonsense vaping. Good flavour, amd churns the vapour out like a steam train. Two things I didn't like about mine was that it was chrome plated brass amd that the drip tip isn't replaceable. Drip tip issue is sorted with v2 but the tank itself is still plated brass afaik.. Ps. If you do buy one and find it's too airy, you can buy an airflow controller from liberty flights which is quite frankly brilliant! The airflow controller sounds interesting, have you got a linky please?

One other thing to bear in mind is that the Protank is 510 thread only yet the Protank mini is Ego thread only.
The chrome plating on the Protank appears to be good quality with no sign of brass showing through (if it is brass?).
Both great vapes IMO.

Beautycat i have three mini novas with metal tubes that i bought from LT for the tank cracking juices & all three are doing my head in with them leaking from the bottom on to my battery centre pin & down the battery, i have tried remedies from Jen, Rosco & Chrisjw & they are still leaking & its all the flavours i am really using at the moment (banana, licorice & aniseed mix & scorpions blood) if you find a solution please let me know as i'm having to use them by putting just 6-8 drops in whichever one i want to vape on at that time & i still end up with juice all over me, i've continously got kitchen towel in my pockets & if i forget to empty my pockets before putting them in the washing machine everything ends up covered in white bits AAArrrrrrreggggggg

I have tried quite a few tanks since i have been vaping over the last year and the best tank i have used for taste and no leaking is the ismoka-bcc you can get it here - www.ukecigcabin.com/product/vapeonly-ismoka-bcc-mega-clearomizer-kit i use the ismoka-bcc on both of my evics at 7.3 watts best vape i have had also use the ismoka-bcc mini on my itaste i would definatly buy the tanks again if anything happened to mine its a pity they don't do them in pyrex tanks

I'm on my second tank-full right now! It does have ever so slightly less flavour than the Evod, but it is still a massive improvement on the full-size Protank

Do they actually work, these airflow controllers? Just wondering With a protank screwed in, you can turn the top section or ring of the airflow controller to reduce or even completely block all airflow I'll see if I can get a picture... Open: Closed:
