The Ithaka Rebuildable Atomizer looks nice, it's a shame that they have used sub standard quality materials in making this clone, but you get what you pay for I suppose.
But I just wish the Chinese would actually design a decent quality atomizer themselves without having to copy every one else.

Have you purchased one of these ?

If not what makes you so sure it is so sub standard , I personally am grateful for the clones means I do not need to remortgage house to try these things ( personally speaking I still think $54 is a lot but that's just me i'm a tight wad )

No I have not purchased one of these, that is something I would never do. But from pass experiences in being foolish enough in buying clones in the past, I can truthfully say that every clone I have obtained have been made with cheaper materials, this is one of the main reasons they are a lot cheaper than the originals. True they work for a certain amount of time, but due to the materials used, they soon wear out, replacement parts are hard if not impossible to obtain.

I have also read on other forums from people who have obtained one of these, and they stand by what I have said about the quality of these.

For peach of mind I would recommend you go and buy one of the originals, if you don't get on with them you can easily sell it on for very near what you have paid for it.

Now try and do the same for the clone and see if you can sell it for the same price.

Hi, ibalders, sorry, we are just the seller, and what we can do is try my best to choose the best products in my circumstance. People choose these items, even if they know they are clones, the only reason is because they are cheaper, good quality and great shape.  As you say, some of the clones have flaws, but not all of them. we have many manufacturers, and at the same time, you can not demand all much cheaper clones exactly the same as the original one.
Besides, we have many repeat cutomers, they give us good judgement, I think the lasting cooperation can explain everything.

As we know the quality of their goods from the Nautilus/Terminator clones is of a very high standard from past experience.

It might just help settle a few minds.

I've read Vaporbreak's reply as their Ithaka being the same as the Rainbow Heaven design, not Tobeco's . . . which another overseas Vendor is selling.

I don't think these are from Rainbow Heaven.
Looking on the Rainbow Heaven site, their version of the Ithaka has more of a brushed finish like the Terminator/Nautilus.
Vapour-freak's Hercules also has a brushed finish.

Based on what other members have said I would stick to the clones supplied by VaporFreak, which seem to have established a fine reputation. Their Odysseus and Penelope clones seem to be excellent value for money.

I made the mistake of buying a 'Nauti' (by Tobeco) which was very poor indeed (by far the worst piece of vaping kit I have ever bought IMHO). It barely fits together, and is virtually unusable. The threading on the mouthpiece in particular is a disaster. I thought (incorrectly) it was from the same supplier as the VaporFreak Euphoria. It cost me about £35 and frankly wasn't worth even the postage cost! Based on my experience I would avoid the Tobeco clones like the plague.

Recently I took the plunge  and bought a genuine GG Ithaka, and, as you might expect, it is in a completely different league. Pricey but superb....

Hi, Mev, these Ithaka is not manufactured by Tobeco, it is from another manufacturer. And our Ithaka is a little different from theirs, The surface of our Ithaka are all polished.
