Anybody had a problem with the LCD window on the Vamo 3? Mines almost melted in the hot weather. Not left out in the sun or in the car, just in my shorts pocket. Screen now unreadable.

No problem here as yet, but it's been inside in the relative cool throughout the hot spell. I'd be gutted if it went wrong Think you can get a replacement LCD but wouldn't know where to begin fitting it!

Are you sure its not reacted with suncream or hand sweat? When I was in turkey, mine went like a grey colour and was unreadable but I could scrath it off with my fingernail.

Mine got really misty - the letters were unreadable (hot weather & next to a pool!) few days later it was fine. Might just be temporary *crossed fingers*

Certainly not suncream but hand-sweat is a possible. The plastic had gone quite soft and malleable, but the following morning had hardened up again but the surface is "mottled" leaving it unreadable. I'm going to try and polish it and see what happens.
