Vamos..whats the difference?

hissie received my SS V3 today, design is a lot more subtle than in the pics on the web (strange i know) looks quite nice though that is subjective, using in 18650 mode good weight and feels good in the hand. The top cap completely unscrews on the V3 so is far easier for cleaning, still experimenting with watts and volts as all quite new to me, the ego feels like a biro after using the Vamo

Re: button..my LT has the button on the side of the body. Looking at the Vamos, it appears the button is on the front. If anyone has had a mod with a side button, what's it like using it with the button on the front? Hope that makes sense lol.

I agree, was expecting the vamo v3 swirls to be a lot deeper but pictures definitely doesn't do it any justice,

I think they are about 1/2mm deep

On the 3 do you need an adapter to use evod's

bernardscott, i agree grooves about 1/2 mm and very smooth, no rough edges and gives a good non-slip grip, not a fingerprint magnet either (so far anyway)

I was watching a review and they mentioned something about making the top different on the 4 compared to the 3 thought it was so could fit evod on must pay more attention lol

if you have a tatty looking Vamo you can always customise them with a wrap, lots of places sell them but heres one i've found with agood range (never used them so can't comment on quality) best bet though is as jcol says and go for the stainless steel.

 sorry bazzer two tubes? lost me there unless you are referring to this pic, you can use all tubes together for the 18650 or 2 x 18350 or you can use in smaller mode with just one 18350 battery by leaving out the centre tube which will make it about same height as a 900mah ego with clearo on top

bazzer343, already doing them, it is the version advertised, fast tech use the American calendar system, Month/date/year, not their fault they are just not properly edumacated
