2nd Cornwall mini meet

Just got home

We had a lovely mini meet up I think between us we tried out about 20 different flavoured e-liquids

Just got home after a very enjoyable (and seemingly very short!) meet with Chrissie, zeldamum and Zelda's friend, new to the vaping world.
We were able to sit out in the warm sun, which unfortunately attracted every wasp in the vicinity; might have had something to do with the amount of sweet juice floating around though!
It was lovely to admire Chrissie's mods, play with Martin's new iTaste and Zelda's SVD, and my trusty IGO-L came into it's own as we must have tried at least a dozen different juices, passing it around the table.
Delicious sandwiches and wonderful cheesy chips filled a gap, then round two of the tasting, with Zelda's Lemon Frost and Chrissie's Brandy and other Joosejuices coming under scrutiny but all bearing up well.
It was so nice to spend sometime with folk who we know so well from the comfort of our computers, and we are already planning another meet in September.

Thank you to Chrissie, chykensa and Martin for a lovely afternoon. Testing everyone's liquids was great. I can recommend Chykensa's Black and White.

To top of the day Martin and I popped into to the new Liberty Flights shop in St Erth and had a cup of coffee, 50 minutes later I left the proud owner of a purple protank for a hearty £15+ and that was with a discount granted by Matt.

Yes, was a very pleasant way to spend a few hours - BTW, the recipe for 'B & W' is HERE - plug, plug!!

ETA: Oh, and zeldamum, let me have your Pear Drops recipe if you don't mind, and I'll pop it up on the Sweets and Desserts thread. Scratch that - it's already HERE, right at the bottom - I'm not a fan of Pear Drops but this juice is a beaut, zingy, tasty, and one I'll definitely be trying

Martin was very controlled and didn't buy anything!

I was going to buy some juice but at £4.95 for 10ml a bit steep. I don't mind paying over the odds for something that is going to last, but not for something that will be gone in a couple of days.

It was lovely chatting to the two guys there, shame they haven't got all their stock yet.

I know we talked about it at the meet, but I really do think it would be good to arrange a meet up at Liberty-Flight's new shop/vapers lounge in St Erth

Cracking idea Chrissie, if LF have spent that much money on a new premises in Cornwall, the very least we can do is help their business along if we can.
Does anyone else have links with any of the other fora, perhaps we could arrange a cross-fora meet, would be good to see just how many closet vapers there are out there!
Taking the idea a stage further, could we approach LF to set something up and do some publicity locally in the papers etc. so that they get the benefit of some new customers and we get to meet them all too? Just an idea

Only worry is chykensa would LF mind us vaping in their lounge using kit & juice we had bought elsewhere?

I would like to think that any business is good business to them, and I would sincerely hope that they see it the same way too! As long as zeldamum is there with her new LF Protank, problem solved
If we can encourage some new vapers into their shop, the chances are high that someone will buy something, and they make a new customer and a bit pf profit. After all, if they want to install sofas and a coffee machine to make a proper Vaping Lounge, they can't expect customers to only use their gear.
I'll pop in when I get back from my holiday and see what they say!
