New here but googling for the best custard DIY has bought me here. This custardy love child seems to be what I'm after. I have searched the thread twice and unless im being totally blind I cannot find the recipe! Sorry to be quoting your post out of the blue like this but you seem to be experienced with this recipe It's the graphic on the very first post in this thread!

Love my PVC but I've just reached the end of my last 30ml. Was told a little while ago that "French Vanilla Deluxe" has both Acetoin & Acetyl Propionyl in (both of which are on the "ingredients to avoid" list ) What would be the best thing to use in place of the FVD? Not sure if you're in the US or not, but TFA has french vanilla cream that is FVD reworked to have the "bad stuff" removed. It's in their site as well as a few vendors like bullcity and wizard labs.

This thread has got me salivating... and got me thinking about some new recipe ideas Stand by Standing by Tom . . . . conjure up a AAE-C Vanilla Custard recipe, perhaps we could run a competition of some sorts between the pair of us to celebrate its ' birthing '.

Thought i'd bump this thread as it's been quiet for a while and maybe someone's learnt something special in the last 6 months. I will be using custard based juices as my go to's. So i took some inspiration from the recipes on this thread, and partly because i never had all the ingredients for any specific recipe and concocted this using what i did have. If your taste buds are experienced with custards what do you think this will taste like?

Thought i'd bump this thread as it's been quiet for a while and maybe someone's learnt something special in the last 6 months. I do know that Custard is as popular as ever and there's very possibly never been a flavour so talked about and so many recipes created Stomper! Steeping is still the most important single factor in achieving a good result . . . . 4-6 weeks minimum, although my own brews it's more like 6 months before I use them. Your recipe looks fine, not too dissimilar to one created by smiley76 infact: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/60087/custard?page=1&scrollTo=1034583There's no hard and fast on the ratios, just what works for your tastes and gives you an enjoyable vape . . . . . and if it isn't quite right, then there's the opportunity to learn from that and tweak next time around.
