Yes you do...now I'm trying to remember if it came with the battery or if I had to buy it but if it was the latter, it was really cheap.. Foxy will know for sure. Lynda

You do need an adapter to charge the Tornado using the ordinary 510 charger. I got my adapter stuck inside the charger and wrecked the charger so I bought a designated one from TW ONLY for the Tornado - apparently it will burn out regular 510 batteries. The cone is purely cosmetic but essential if you want to have a good looking unit. Dripping is no different whether or not the cone is in place. The Tornado is fairly weighty as the battery is larger but it's a very tactile unit. If you like a 510 then you will love the Tornado. It does seem to produce a softer, more dense vapour; I don't know why. I get the very best vapour production by using Totally Wicked's regular 510 atomizers, over and above other types; again, I don't know why. Fox

Have ordered the tornado kit from totally wicked. If I like it, it looks like buying the batteries and atomizers would only cost £70 for five of each, so almost as economical as the 510s and 901s. Hope I like it. Do you find that particular liquids work well with it? Pixie

All of my many liquids work well with the Tornado Pixie, there is no difference between the Tornado and the 510 (Titan) other than the excellent battery life. I only replace my battery once a day - well over 6 hours of use (I don't use it exclusively but I do use it heavily). Fox

Thankyou to Foxy and Jules for the advice on the Tornados. Got them in the week and love them but one battery only lasts about 2-3 hour and the other about 10 - I will e mail them to find out if that's normal.

Your very welcome Pixie and welcome to the Tornado club i would get in-touch with TW about that battery that is only lasting a few hours, i'm sure they will replace it if it isnt working as it should. Jules
