Has anybody tried these? Are they worth the extra money? Does anyone recommend a good place to buy them from? Have to keep recharging my batteries at work and I'm going to get caught one day Thanks Pixie

I've not tried them Pixie as I haven't used any generic e-cig batteries for over a year.

Pixie, try googling it, some of the hits will prob be to a couple of forums, and you'll be able to see what others who have tried them, think, rather than trying to wade thro the quagmire that is ECF, lol

I highly reccomend the Tornado from TW, the battery is lasting a lot of vapers 10 hours or more, it lasts me a lot lot longer as i am still smoking in between, if you have the 510 attys and 510 charger then all you need to get it a Tornado battery and a Cone thats all i did there is no need to get all the kit, i wanted to see what it was like and it is my main e-cig now, it looks cool too Jules

There's quite a bit about the mega batteries on the Totally Wicked forum. Not all comments are favourable as some say the extra power causes carts to melt at the base causing an 'orrible taste! You can't, I understand, use regular titan atomizers/carts with the mega batteries. Another minus point mention is that the carts, although holding more liquid than the regular, don't drain to the bottom in use. It's certainly worth reading the forum comments for yourself. The Tornado is a great device - I use mine most of the time these days but have you thought of a 510 PCC (Portable Charging Case) for your 510? I have one of these and it's brilliant in that you just have a 'vape' and pop the battery back in the case for an always charged battery. Last Friday, Totally Wicked's Facebook Friday Special was 25% off a 'full PCC kit;' not much use to you now though of course. Vapour Station have the best deal on the empty case that I've found so far and Liberty Flights offer them with a 15% discount if you use a code (ECR69 is one you could use). igetcha69's You Tube review on the 510 PCC is well worth watching. Do you prefer the Tornado to your SDII then Foxy?
i must admit im baffled as to why so many people love the 510 ???
the one i got from VS gave me no throat hit to speak of, altho there was certainly plenty of vapour, makes me wonder if it was a duff one?

Lilac, I've tried 510 atties via an adapter on my 910 mods & I also get far less throat hit from them than my 901's

Chrissie: I do prefer my Tornado mainly because it's small and neat looking - I'm too self-conscious ever to use my SD outside. The SD is, of course, a better deal as it should last forever being a simple battery housing. I find I get better flavour from my DSE901's and the battery life is pretty good even when not using a PCC (I don't get nearly as much vapour from my VS Stasis version as I do from the ones I got from Liberty Flights though). I find the Titan 510's are excellent although the battery life is pretty poor - that's why I use a PCC all the time with that one. I love the TW 510 atomizers - I haven't found better anywhere. The Tornado is, of course, just a rather classy looking 510 with a long lasting battery - I only need one battery per day on average. For both flavour and vapour I like the 401M Evos/Pilot best of all but, sadly, topping off the tiny inner carts is a pain in the pinny so I make time for mass filling sessions and just swap carts as and when I need one. The size is perfect, the battery life is great and the Smart PCC case for them is brill. The huge downside with the EVOlution model is the cut off switch that seems to have a mind of its own and I think the two minute cut off is too long; the "Pilot" version from e-cigs.co.uk is much more user-friendly in that respect. Here endeth the lesson! Fox

Thanks for all the replies. The tornado looks fascinating, is it heavy? I will look at that when I get paid I think, as it sounds just the job but what is the cone for? I am changing my mind about the mega batteries and may just go onto 901s. Have tried several different 510s but so far, ok smokey have been the best. Has anyone tried his 901s? Thanks for the help. Pixie

I may be wrong Pixie, but I think the cone is just like a cover/sleeve to put over the connection between the battery & atomiser to give it a streamline appearance. I've only bought juice of OK Smokey (really like his double flavours). Just had an email from him & he has a fantastic range of different coloured 901 kits & spares :-) www.oksmokey.com/store/category.php?id=18

Thanks for the reply about the cone. For Jules and Foxy, can you drip using the tornado, or does the cone get in the way? I tend not to use filled cartridges you see and need something to drip on!! Sounds well!

Hi Pixie, Yes, you can drip with the cone in place... The Tornado battery lasts for ages and even tho' the cone isn't essential, it does make the whole thing look good. I think it also makes it feel nice and balanced too. I use it with a mega-cart/attie. Lynda
