I use an IGO-L which i have HEAVILY modified, but my main bug bare with it is attaching the coil, you have to wrap it round the screw, try and get one that has holes in the posts. The next dripper i'll be picking up is this, www.smokecloud.co.uk/smok-scar-rdaCould you list the modifications you've made and why please? I do like the look of the Scar.. Todd seems to quite like it and so may be worth a punt.. its that or the igo-l I think.. Do dual coils give better flavour over single coils? Ie will the igo-w give better flavour than igo-l?

Oh my IGO-L was my play thing haha, i've increased the hole to almost 3mm, and drilled a 1.5mm hole on the otherside, if i am coiling single coil i plug either one of the holes, or two coils i leave both open, i am tempted to increase the 1.5 but i like the variation, and i've removed the polished finish and brushed it instead. It's personal taste, none of them needed to be done but i got bored one day and i sometimes like to blow clouds. Dual coils will give you more vapour, the size of the airhole will dictate the flavour somewhat in short; a small airhole - less vapour more flavour large airhole - more vapour less flavour. You can think of it like a sauce... less water means less sauce but lots of flavour more water means you get a lot more sauce but the flavour is watered down.

all good points and yes the IGO-L is a firm fave of mine too but the IGO-W imo is a classy dripper as for opening air holes it's all subjective to your own taste i keep it standard i'm a believer in if it works don't fix it lol if i want TH i leave the hole away from the coil just turn till your happy or leave the hole in line with the coil for more vape also depends on your juice (mg) strength but how could you not like this set up drip tip fro here spartan-mods.co.uk/drip-tips-2.htmlIGO-W from here www.vapegear.co.uk/product/igow (spend over £20 for free del)

The Scar is not very wide - if you're new to dripping you might find it difficult to rebuild. It doesn't have a lip around the edge, which means juice will inevitably run off when you remove the top cap. And personally I don't like drippers where air is fed from below - I had a Vision Eternity and the air hole would often get blocked by gunk dripping off the coil. You really can't go wrong with an Igo-L. I've got more expensive drippers but my two Igo-Ls are still my favourites.
