Been over 6 months vaping. I was getting mouthfuls of hot e-liquid. I recently changed the wick. I use an evod and have used them from close enough to the start. Everything I am using are from my local vendor (genuine parts) Does the evod itself have a lifespan ? What is the most likely cause. I have filled it up again and its gurgling again when fired

Sounds like too much juice is getting through.
Is the rubber grommet/cap thingy pushed right down against the top of the wick?
If so, do you have a little bit of 1mm or 2mm wick you could place on top of the existing wick (under the rubber bit) [or failing that, you could even try a small bit of cotton wool?]
But as mark said, try another wick, if you have one - then you'll know if its the wick or the evod.

Looking at a wick should it have the plastic cap thingy and beneath it either side should you see bits of wick sticking out

Check that the rubber grommet if fully pushed down.If that doesnt work, carefully lift it off.Remove the center pin - may need pliers.Add a piece of 1mm or 2mm wick (or cotton wool?) on top of the existing wick/coil.Carefully reassemble.
The other thing I've just thought about - the new heads MAY be slightly too short - & the grommet may not be locating properly inside the body, against the bottom of the mouthpiece If this is the case, you'll need to contact your vendor. (You could try cutting a piece from the old grommet from the old head, and placing on top of the grommet, but it's hard to explain what I mean, and possibly too complicated?)

The wick is used to collect the liquid present in the device and, its main function is to bring the liquid in contact with the coil. The liquid sometimes highly heated and thus the wick transfer more liquid from the tank.

I was using a new twist and had votage up to the highest (which I always had with my old twist). This must be hotter than last as now that I have turned it down fingers crossed no more leaks. After opening to wicks and a new evod argggggg
