Another intro (a short one though)...

Hi I'm Jason and after 20 odd years smoking I have just ordered the Riva from Vapeescape after reading many posts and recommendations on here.

I must admit - I'm still a bit dubious still about this whole vape thing (and still got a lot to read on here) but willing to try. The plan is to dump the cigs and use the vape instead which should hopefully please the Mrs.

I think the kit comes with 5 pre-filled carts - does anyone know what strength they are compared to a cig (specifically Lambert&Butler or B&H) as it doesn't mention it on the site?

Not certain but should imagine the prefilled cartridges will be medium nicotine strength, so fairly comparable to L&B, depending on how much you smoke.

So what is exactly in these pre-filled cartridges / liquids? I have seen various PG/VG mentioned but what is it? I am guessing all the nasties listed on a ciggie pack aren't present in the liquids?

PG is Propylene glycol - used in many every day products from toothpaste to inhalers to help asthma sufferers. VG is vegetable glycerine, used in cough remedies & baking.

Hiya Jas, welcome. I was dubious when I first started noticing ecig posts on ebay just over a year back, now a year later I've not looked back.

The cartridges supplied are medium strength tobacco, which is a good place to start.

There is too much information to put in one thread, but you will need to look at getting some more e-liquid in the near future to top up your cartridges.

Also, consider cartomisers, which are used instead of the atomiser and mini cartridges. They hold a lot more liquid and are more economical in the long run.

Above all, ask as many questions as you like, rather than struggle with anything.
