I think perhaps the vendor has posted the wrong picture and not put a detailed enough description. As to my knowlegde (which is limited) I don't believe there are two Protank 2's hopefully he will clarify

It looks like the mini protank 2 they have is the one without removable drip tip, i believe Kanger are having problems with the EDITED: 510 drip tip being not tight enough.....there will probably sometime in the near future be a revised version of it once they have fixed the drip tip problem coming out.

But i think initially it was mean to have removable drip tip

EDIT: I think most UK vendors will be stocking the Mini Protank 2 without removable drip tip for now until the problem is fixed.

Hi Guys,

just to clarify things the Mini Protank 2 does not have a removable drip tip due to issues,Kanger has decided not to go ahead with the removal drip tip for now until they solve the issues.
The difference from the version 1 is that the glass is removeable and is easier to clean and can be replaced if broken.

You could be right they might have released a few with removeable drip tips but there are issues with them so would not recommend you to buy one.

After speaking with Kanger in the morning they have confirmed they did run a sample with removable drip tips and they had problems with them so decided not to make them for now.
They will be releasing a mini protank with a removable drip tip sometime in the near future.
