Thanks everyone. I've got the pico for now - I got the black and bronze - but I may pick up the evic later. I used to have the original evic tube mod, that thing was futuristic for its time.
Does anyone know who has the best price for the evic currently?

Thanks for the suggestions - I've been away from the shinyitis too long! I'm reading reviews etc.
Any love for the Eleaf Istick pico? It seems tiny and presumably works as well as the 30w version. I have 18650 batteries but haven't used them for a while so may need to replace them.
I have hordes of mechanical mods but my wattage needs have increased as I've dropped down the nicotine.

That looks nice but with just a 18500 battery, how long does it last between charges?

Hello AAEC - long time no see.
I'd like to get a new mod, and I'm looking for suggestions. My main mod is a 30w istick but it's old, battered, and the battery is starting to give out. I also have the tesla nano which I like aesthetically but it's a bit heavy and has this weird habit of jumping to 60w unexpectedly on rare occasions. This is not pleasant and destroyers the wick and coil, meaning I need to completely rebuild, not easy if you are out and about,so I rarely take it out of the house.
I vape 2mg liquid at 25w.
I'm looking for a small light box mod that will last a good while between charges, preferably with an internal battery, something around the same size as an istick would be ideal. Budget is up to around £60 but cheaper is better, and I want to buy from the UK, no slow boats for me.
Hit me with your suggestions - tried and tested thoughts only please!
I hope everyone is well, I always remember AAEC as being one of the friendliest places on the Internet.

Well, my Tesla arrived yesterday - it's heavier than I expected but it's a good looking mod and seems to do the job just fine. Many thanks for all your help and kind thoughts!

Thanks dagl - my photography is coming on, but I'm still not able to give up the day job! 300 - it's yours when I've finished with it, but it's the best atty I've ever had so please don't hold your breath! Glad to see that you're still around here as well.

OK, Tesla Nano ordered. See, I've still got the quick-fire mod-buying instinct I learned here! Thanks for the link Chrissie. Hope everyone is doing ok - it's coming up to 3 years for me with vaping and (not that I'm judging anyone else) I haven't touched a cigarette in all that time. With the upcoming move to 3mg I should be nicotine-free before the end of the year.

Thanks everyone - I have decent batteries and chargers already, but prefer to use my usb charger for my istick (500ma output so nice and slow charging). Q - thanks for correcting the website link! It looks like an istick pico is the front runner, although that Tesla mod looks nice if it can be bought in the UK (my days of being patient and waiting for fasttech are long behind me). I had the original Evic and loved it so I'll look into that too.

Hello AAEC - I haven't posted here for ages, mainly as I needed a cure for my shinyitis and you guys were just feeding my shiny habit. I hope everyone is well and that there are still a few people on here that remember me! For the last year or so I have been happily vaping on a 30w istick with a single coil rba (Troy X by Fakir, it's no longer available but it suits me perfectly). I've cut my nicotine down from 18mg to 6mg, and at the end of my current bottle I'm swapping to 3mg. I'm still vaping monkey jizz - that hasn't changed in ages! My istick is on its last legs. I have mechs and a 75w box mod as well, but I want to replace my every day, hassle free mod and I'm hoping you can provide me with some suggestions as I am so out of touch with the latest gear. I want something pocketable that can vape up to 30w, about the same size as the 30w istick, can take a 22mm RBA, and that can be bought in the UK. Reliability and decent battery life would be good. Budget is around £50 but I can up it if I have to for the right mod. I don't want another mech, and I'd prefer a small box mod. I have no need for temp control as I am swimming in kanthal and only replace my coil every couple of months at present. In other news, I started photography whilst I was here - photographing mods with my phone became a fun hobby, and it has developed somewhat since then. I now have my own website and facebook page, should you be interested in my latest obsession!

I have the ipv mini - it's a very solid device, but it's quite a but bigger than the iStick. However, it feels built to last, and the 510 is sprung loaded.
I'm waiting for my iStick to give out (won't be long) and then I may get a 30w iStick to replace it as I like the smaller size for my pocket. I use the ipv in the house.

At the moment I've got the Spheroid back working as I couldn't get it to play ball. I'm gonna suspend this as if it keeps working I still want the gizmo... If not it will be back up. Will let you know in due course Feel free to drop me a message if you need a hand with the spheroid jackcustard.

decoy - I've recently got the erl mini clone from FT. I've only done one build so far, but I've followed the following instructions that I found on the web, and haven't had any problems; 3mm coil (I used 7 wraps of 0.32 for 1.3 ohms) Plenty of cotton on top (the 'shoulders') but then trim the edges so it tapers off to a thin strand leading half way down the wicking grooves. See here for a pic: www.fasttech.com/forums/1996900/t/1508826/pissing?1508924ceedee - nothing that looks like it works. The standard drip tip seems the best, i just wish it was 5mm shorter.
