I've only gone and recoiled and rewicked an Evod . Not much some of you might say but I am so chuffed with myself . I did have a slight mishap with gurgling and a bloomin leak till I discovered that I'd forgotten to put the silicone cap back on . Now its pretty damn good. I am now going to attempt to change all the coils and wicks in my FT Evods and all the spare heads I bought. One thing is I can actually taste the flavour of my juice now. Something that has been greatly lacking

Well done Sue I've got three to do sometime I've already had to do 4 or 5, if you find it's stopped firing just check the head hasn't come unscrewed from the base because that happened to me. Dave

Aaah thank you everyone. To be honest I did it because I had bought some Evods from FT that tasted 'orrible. I soaked them for 24 hours in a nice bi-carb bath dried them and tried them again eeeeeuw 'orrible. I thought o lordy I've bought 4 Evods, 10 spare coils and if they all taste like this , I'm going to have to bin them and look for something else. I know they didn't cost a lot but the point was if I could salvage them, then I would. With the help of Rom's tutorial and fantastic help on his How to page, I thought nothing to lose. Got my wick and wire from the linky Rom supplied and hey presto. Might buy myself a mini Protank now wooooohoooo. I found the coiling a bit of a faff. Couldn't get it very neat. I think I was trying to pull it too tight because I frayed all the wick at one point and had to start again . Next one will be better Don't think I'd get any points for it looking pretty if it was disected
but who cares, it works
