Got to love this comment in this 2008 report

It seems the user will get little benefit from a short
puff. Further work is needed to clarify whether this is indeed due to difference in puff
volume, or to flow velocity, or to number of puffs from the beginning of the session.

What this probably means in reality is that puffing on your skycig for 1.5 seconds in the hope of getting some nicotine is pointless.
