Rommers, do you have the exact time you spotted the "speck" as it looks like I will have to do a recount. "I did see it but am learning not to say anything anymore, it's my new type of therapy"

Just a little something I noticed.....Did you clamp both pieces together before drilling the mod holes?.......I messed my first one up by not doing it that way & the mods didn't sit perfectly upright.
*By the way greigster, that wasn't meant to sound like I'm picking, but it could be a handy hint if you intend making another one.......great work though.

Thanks chrisjw and you are quite correct, I almost did the same thing The problem I had was trying to drill the holes using an electric drill and flat spade bits, but no matter how vertical you think you are holding the drill, the holes come out at a slight angle and the mods sit on the tilted base of the hole I think I have overcome that problem........My brother has let me have a circa. 1850`s cast iron, hand cranked pillar drill made in the days that Britain turned out quality goods. I now have to hand drill every hole using this pillar drill and each hole takes between 5 and 10 minutes depending on the number of times I have to stop and get my breath back. I have spent this morning preparing Ver2.0 of the Greigster Mod Stand, totally different from the first, now off to drill some holes PS, Thanks Chris, I do value your comments and advice, I could do with as much help as I can get.
