The K100 is excellent I have one myself in daily use. you don't actually need a kick, But it is highly recommended you use protected batteries in mechanical devices.

A kick won't always fit and work in a telescoping mod, I don't have any experience of the one You are looking at, so someone else may know for sure.

Does anyone no the highest genuine mah on 18500 battery and what brand is best my head is spinning with all these different types. I'm intending as stated to use them in a k100 mod with a kick 2 does the kick cut out the need for protected batteries? Thanks guys just want to make sure I'm as safe as possible. Oh I have an xtar charger don't no if that makes any difference as to which battery make I get

The kick2 is wired up with plenty of protection and if you're going to use a kick then you would be better off with IMR batteries, those that perpy linked to are ideal. I don't own a K100 though so I have no idea whether or not the kick will fit, all I can say is it probably would.

These mechanical mods are really cool, they look different and are cheap-ish bling. I love them. However, I don't really use mine, I just find an eVic or Spinner more predictable. I think I just get frustrated when I put a tank on a mod and it's not making enough or too much vapour for my mood.

Thank you blakey! Djs I get what your saying for me it's completely an eye pleasing decision against performance but what can I say it's like the difference between a sexy looking handbag with no zip, you no it looks the tits but every time you fall over drunk your picking your stuff up out the road or an okish looking handbag with a zip you no your stuff is safe! I have ordered an airflow controller also, a. To protect threads and b. To control airflow lol! Also have invested in a kick 2 for the ability have control over the vape. Im hoping this will enable me to have the sexy handbag with the zip

I have my K-101 in my hand that i received yesterday. It feels great in the hand in 18350 mode.
I also use a safety fuse in the bottom of it for piece of mind.
