It's nothing personal buddy, I've worked with a number Soapdodgers and Matelots, good blokes one and all.

They just seem to have allergies to being clean and ironing their kit!

Bet you have a beard too - spot the stereotype! I don't know how you can do your job - I prefer being on top of the sea in my kayak rather than underneath it!

Thanks again ............ shortly I will be the proud owner of a RIVA 1100 . Looks like a lot of kit for not a lot of dosh ( compared to my current supplier ) , watch this space as they say .  I am sure that I will be back soon asking , how , why and when to do something . 

Off to Switzerland next week , so will see how the gizmo works at altitude  - probably see how I work at altitude also !! Have excursions planned up high mountains , then relaxing by the lakes and in the bars  - so a good all round test me thinks ! 

Arran , have fun at sea and safe return to Gods own County .

DO ask if you have any problems getting the kit set up and working before you go - nothing worse than having the gear and not being able to use it properly!

these all seem to be fruity ?  Not sure I am ready for fruity just yet , would prefer to have ' tobacco ' . Have been looking at :
