Yep the ally version has the hole.
What devices are you all using the RDA on, mine in on a multimod but would like a mod that was the same diameter as the RDA...cheap would be good also ;-)

Aldo:
The only possible places for the air intake are on the tube, or in the base like a standard attie or clearo/carto. Because the RDA has a coil terminal through the centre, and gets juice tipped inside, a bottom air inlet wouldn't work. The side of the tube is the only practical place.
I did think about a top air inlet, but that would be very painful if you exhaled with the drip tip in your mouth - a jet of hot vapour would blast your lips.
Lisa: A Provari or Super-T P18 is an excellent visual match for the RDA. Can't think of a cheap option, but you'll end up with an expensive mod sooner or later anyway! A Silver Bullet or Omega would be good, too, for a bit less cash.

UPDATE:
The first batch of RTAs should be ready to ship at the weekend!
It passed it's field tests with no modifications, and I'm halfway through building the first dozen. There's a review over on the other UK forum.

Juice consumption depends on the way you make the wick and coil, so it could be - your choice! The way I wicked mine, the flavour and hit are similar to my RDA, so the juice consumption must be similar. I chose to "water down" my juice with pure 50:50 no-nic base, rather than reduce the size of the coil. BTW, you are first on the list.
