Hobbies outside of vaping?

Thought i would ask everybody what there hobbies are outside of vaping.

Mine is power kiting. Have a few kites now. Great fun. Hardwork though lol. Sure as hell keeps me fit. Between kites, vaping, lil one amd work that is my time taken up really. Trying to get little one into the kites now but not much luck. Attention span of a nat lol

So come on what is your hobby?

Wow ... A life outside vaping ... I might try it

I do find that while vaping I can write however, and am STILL editing the book I wrote last year. It has always been my ambition to write a book, and I did ... That was the easy bit. Rewriting is a lot harder especially for someone with mild dyslexia I can get the spelling sorted with spell check, but punctuation drives me nuts, when I am reading "normally." I don't even see it. I have trained myself to spot the mistakes I know I automatically make, but when it gets to the complicated stuff ... it's hell That and reading all the advice on how not to write, boring/confusing people, rewriting whole swathes of text ... deleting whole swathes of text that took days to write ...

It's a fantasy novel, if anyone is interested, and the few people who have read it can't wait for me to write the next one, which is the best praise I can hope for. I need to get this one to the point where I can "go public" with it first. Writing for my own pleasure is one thing, but it would be more satisfying if people actually want to read them, without going cross eyed at the punctuation and/or getting bored and wandering off.

Vaping is much better than the stinkies, when I get lost in writing I would chain light cigs, take one puff, then forget them til they burnt out, and repeat the process

Digital painting, Archery, photography, all of these have taken a diferent route since my eyesight failed but still do them all.

I am big into surfing.....probably spend 6 hours every day doing it. I am very fortunate that I live only 50mt. from the waters edge and it is great for me to get up in the morning, the first thing that I do after my cup of tea and porridge is go surfing........(oh hang on, that makes it the 3rd thing I do,) normally whilst still wearing my nighty.
Oh how refreshing it is to look out of the window and see all those people in the water having such good fun..........then I sit back down, have a cup of coffee and carry on surfing, its great being retired but quite exhausting

Hate all sports

Not so much a hobby but i watch a lot of films, i mean a lot a very lot, never comedy or love films just thrillers & horrors.

My fave films of all time are the hellraiser films. 1 to 3 are the best.

I've been known to paint, make candles, crochet, make jewellery, read a tonne of books, cook and sew (including pattern drafting)

I bake, design and decorate celebration cakes. Only do it now for my family and friends because of arthritis in my hands and shoulders. . Used to knit, sew and crochet but all that has stopped now. I just enjoy our caravan that is kept in Devon and go there as often as we like.
