hi guys and girls just ANOTHER question
I have rebuilt my first coil yesterday on a kanger pro tank ( tested 1st on an old battery for safety of equipment) I am getting 1.4 resistance good vapour but the bottom of the kanger seems a bit warmer than usual is this normal? the pre made ones in it are at 1.9 resistance and don't get as hot, have I got a minor short which is making it over heat or is that the difference between the higher and lower resistance coils?
cheers in advance

Heya Steven,
If I'm not delirious, I would say that because you have a lower resistance coil and you are pumping the same amount of current through it, the coil itself will become warmer faster and (hotter than a 1.9 ohm coil?)

Yes it probably is the lower resistance of your coil. At 3.7v you have gone from vaping at 7.6watts to 9.12watts And 2amps to 2.4amps So quite a jump in power being used for the same length of draw.
edit: sorry those numbers were based on 1.8 reducing to 1.5 but you should get the drift.

The correct figures are: 1.94amps and 7.2watts on 1.9ohm coil to 2.6amps with 9.77watts on the 1.4ohm coil So don't bother with a kick as you have just about maxed it out already.
