A day of two halves!

Hey,

so my lava tube packages arrived at lunchtime...
contents iincluded

lava tube
aga t
Lots of wire/ silica wick
loads of spare seals and nuts
3 x 18650 batteries
trustfire charger.
£32 delivered

Let's get the bad part done first....this was a total impulse buy, I wanted to mess around with an rba and didnt ask here first  . Opened it up and it was as described....well used and UNCLEAN  , I then realise something is faulty with the batteries/charger. ( seller has been emailed and I'm waiting a response....

now the good bit, stripped the whole thing done and whilst the aga t was being sterilised i made a start polishing up the LT.
once everything was polished/clean and dry i started on the wicking process....BOOM!! First attempt ( 1mm silica folded over double with 5 coils of wire) and its smoking pretty good!!nfill her up and let it soak up.

i can't believe how much better this is compared to the ego ce4 set up (much stronger flavour) and I can guarantee ive done something wrong so with practice the future is bright and vapy lol

Well done arron, to get an AGA up and running first time, you're obviously a born natural. Must be all those nuclear reactors you play with 400' down!!

Set to 4.4-5.0v gives a much better vape (slight burn at 5v)
Now apart from obviously using more juice ( both in battery terms and liquid) is there any downside to this?
Also, can u have too much wick??

I'm going to be asking a million questions sorry apologise in advance

400m down??....I could possible confirm or deny lol
Let's just hope I dont ever make that reactor core smoke ( or smell like cherry for that matter)

I have no idea if its a good price or not lol but I've told the seller I'm happy with a £10 refund for the charger/batteries purely on the bases that the charger isn't working due to a break down in the cable ( this doesn't happen in transit) he chose the wrong electrical engineer to fob his dodgy trust fire onto lol

To be honest i wanted to kill someone just for the sake of it when i tried to get the AGA-T working for me, that thing put me of rebuildable's for quite some time.

Never got it working in the end but i was trying the Mesh way not the silica way.

So hats off to you for getting it working even with silica

Good shout mate. Just shows you dont have to spend huge amounts on latest kit to get a top class vape.

I have to agree with Super-Shiny here, my AGA-T is a pain to get vaping properly, and it also put me off rebuildables. It was the simplicity and effectiveness of the IGO-L which I keep raving about which has made me reconsider in a big way.
I've tried the AGA with silica, ekowool, and mesh, and no way can I get the bleddy thing to work! I'm sure I will come back to it in a couple of months time and will have the patience and the time to devote to it to get it steaming, but in the meantime it's Protanks and their attendant recoiling which keeps me a happy Cornish lad!

Well seller has just contacted me...£15 refund heading my way, he hasn't checked the stuff before sending it out and hadn't been using it so was very understanding, result
