Hello all.......
Well when I got my first vaping kit 3 weeks ago and had my first vape , it spaced me out for about 5 hours. I have since worked out that it was the primer in the atomizer that I inhaled that made me sick so I bought another kit and have now only used cartomizers.
So when I got my second kit, and using cartomizers, I still got sick from the chemical taste from the flavoring in the juices I vaped. So the next thing to do, was obviously to order juice with no flavoring, which I did.
Now I am vaping 0 nic with about 100% VG and also 100%PG , unflavored to see which is the best for me.
I have ordered Organic 100% flavored VG juice with different low nic levels from Vaporite USA. That will be my next experiment at vaping to see if I don't get any side effects. I expect to get the organic juices from the USA in about 2 or 3 weeks time.
I know all the additives in ecigs are food safe, etc, but they're safe to eat, not necessarily safe to smoke. Vaping and getting shot straight into our lungs on a constant basis are two different things entirely. So I'm still cautious.
People are understandably concerned about what they are vaping-I think providers of "organic" juices should be happy to explain what substances are in their juices that are healthier than the run of the mill offerings that don't claim organicness!
I will have a lot of questions to ask and a quick browse through this forum made me feel like joining!!

Welcome to the All About, Sellaman, this is a great forum with a lot of nice people. In fact, they all are very nice people, who will be more than willing to answer any questions that you have. Even if you think that a question may be stupid, we don't, so fire away. Many new atomizers have a primer in them. Just blow it out or rinse it out, before you use a new atomizer. I prefer tobacco flavored e-juice with just a touch of a flavoring, like vanilla, maple or cherry. Sweet e-juice will turn my stomach. You will have to experiment to see what is best for you. Also, it's not like smoking a cigarette, there is no beginning and no end to an e-cig, so make sure you don't over nicotine yourself. Some people are allergic to PG, so if you continue to have problems, that may be the cause. All in all, it's trial and error, until you find what's best for you.

All in all, it's trial and error, until you find what's best for you. Thanks for the very warm welcome and I am trying everything I can think of to be a successful vaper. I don't want to smoke cigarettes and when I heard about vaping on the radio 4 weeks ago, I immediately started trying to find out what it was all about. I'm just taking it easy at the moment , only having a few puffs on my PV and not overdoing it. When I get my juice with nic in it , I will hopefully vape a little more , thereby slowly reducing my analogues , until hopefully, I'll quit my analogues completely.

Welcome Sellaman. I think you'll find that once you get the right amount of nic and a juice flavour you really like you'll not want another analogue. I've been vaping just over a year now, I rarely use tobacco flavours, preferring to use fruity flavours like orange, lemon and strawberry. I look at it from the point of view that anything's got to be better for my lungs after 36 years of heavy smoking

Welcome Sellaman
I'm a relatively new vaper having been a heavy (like 6oz of rolling tobacco A WEEK) for abotu 10 years...
the transisiton for me is really about getting enough nicotine though sounds like you might be a bit sensitive....
I have a mod box from liberty-flights (about £15 plus P+P)...I'd recommend for a cheapo starter kit...
takes most cartos and the batteries are cheaper than say buying a riva or bigger... Plus you can get them all over
A word of warning about Li-on batteries though..when over charged they do nasty fireworks so make sure you get your charger from somewhere reputable...
Anyhow semi pj day for me today here.....
river if you've emigrated...one Q - WHY?
Jo
