My new Vamo

It came through this morning and what a difference to my vaping experience it makes! I'm not electronics minded at all and I take it as gospel that the ohms the supplier says my coils are at is what they are actually at. For example my evod coils are SUPPOSED TO BE 1.8 so on my old VV battery I haven't been cranking the voltage too high, however when putting them on my vamo they are reading at 2.6. 

So I set my vamo to 9 watts (seems to be the general consensus on a good vape) and my vapour production from the evod literally doubled! More than happy with this mod and any hints and tips to get the best possible experience with it are more than welcome lol.

Great news jordan, i love my vamo although it is now in the spares box. Did you pick up a charger and batteries?

It came with them mate. 2 18350's so I'm using it in short mode and a basic charger. I will be buying some 18650's and probably a nitecore charger as soon as I can afford it though

Just to add, you need to make sure it is on no2 mode. Press either of the two smaller buttons for 10 seconds, or so. If it displays No1 it was set to RMS and is now set to AVG. If it displays No2 it was set to AVG and is now RMS. You can't check what it is set to without changing the setting.
Apart from that just have a play with the watts and see how you go.

Sweet, looks dinky in 18350 mode. A proper work horse as well, will last you ages.

Yeah, luckily the batteries came charged to 3.7v so only needed 30 mins in the charger to top them off. feels really nice in the hand too.

Also is it normal for the top to get quite warm (not hot) when in use?

My vamo got hot at the top when i chain vaped.

Hi jordan..........it's probably getting a bit hot due to the wattage you're vaping at....or as others have said, it's the atty heating up.....try dropping the wattage a bit & see if it makes a difference.

Yeah it's at the atomiser end, and I may have been chain vaping, wallowing in clouds of happy cherry cola!

I think it was literally because I was chain vaping and also let my missus have a go so it just got a bit hot chris. I like my vape warm so if a slightly warm top is the result I can live with it =D

I get a lot of changing readings on the ohms. Mostly I find after a few puffs, if I take it off and put it back on, it's dropped to nearer the supposed resistance.
