My next door neighbour spoke to me as I was getting my works equipment out of my truck earlier... Let me first describe the scene ... I had been working all day and was knackered. I was just lifting bags and bags of stuff out of my car. There is the Annual village show on over the road. So the conversation goes a little like this. Liz "Hi Carl" Me "Hi Liz" Liz "Are you coming over for the Tug o war ? " Me "Phew, I couldn't tug myself right now Liz !" Me "Ohh SH!T I meant I am so tired I couldn't pull myself"  Me "Umm I need to go inside now" What I meant to say I was quite tired and would regrettably be missing the village games  |
