Perp, I think that's what these torpedo tanks take too.... isn't it?

but as far as performance is concerned it is basically an arry tank right? That's how I see it Aldo, just more robust with the metal ends and stuff. The juice control ring on the UFS does my head in a bit I'm afraid, it needs to have a ridged finish to make it easier to turn, for me anyway.

There are 2 different tanks perpy, those are clearo's, fits arrys clearo tank. The normal ce2's have a metal casing which you have to cut down with a pipe cutter for the map tank.

Arrys first tank was the same as the map tank(both took modded CE2 cartomisers)Arry stopped making those tanks and now concentrates on the clearomiser tanks which is what we have Perpy. He will still make the original tank to fit pipe cut CE2s but only as a requested order. He swapped to clearomiser tanks as they are alot easier than the map style tanks,no modding required just push in your clearomiser innards.WOOPS,sorry Blue you had answered the question

sooo... these torpedo tanks are not clearo tanks like arry's (the one's he mass-produces) but CE2 tanks like the map tanks! right? loool I feel like a dumb blonde atm ! what is the diff between ce2 cartos innards and clearos innards, performance wise?

have you seen the new cap for the UFS? I have Aldo . . . although it's not the cap that bothers me, but if it makes the juice control ring easier to manage . . .

uhmm... it probably won't make the juice control easier to manage, but you can then drip through it instead of faffing around with the CR iykwim. if you can't set your juice flow properly, just let it on the short side and whenever it feels like it's drying drip a bit until it is back on... at least it will ease it ! Thanks blue!

That's what I try and do Aldo, although turning it I find a real problem, nothing to get hold of being a slippery finish. Maybe the steel window would help as well as the threads might be better. Or something.

lol looks like I can't properly use clearo tanks and you can't properly use UFS! o0 wanna swap'em? loool I thought I was using the UFS correctly, but 2 weeks later I found that although it was good enough I wasn't using it correctly yet and I had a lot more tuning to do! I believe I have now reached the sweet spot! eheh but still I'l going to try and find a good way to stick a 306 Cisco atty in it ! perhaps this new cap will be a good help meanwhile, I must give clearos a second chance to see wether I want to give that SS/pyrex torpedo a swing once you do what may become another group order ! lool P.S.: regarding your reply about the drip shield on another topic.... Don't think I hadn't thought of that, but I couldn't afford it atm... tbh I didn't sell it before because I was hoping to get an Iatty for that GGTB, hence the 510cap, but I couldn't save enough for that so I decided to sell it before I got too tempted! I'm saving twice this way: not only I'm not spending more money innit but I'm also getting some from it!

Ummm, I think I'll have to decline your swapsie offer Aldo! But I do love your logic on the GGTB like Dee. Have heard back from Jonah about the Pyrex/SS Torpedo Tanks . . . they will be pretty pricey . . . around $100 a piece + shipping, plus possible customs charges. The aluminum ones he currently has, with the V2 easy change bottom are around $65. . . .

Not worth it then Perpy,as in effect it is only a fancy looking map tank. Also it does appear that the CE2 cartomisers are becoming phased out now Anyway the clearomiser tanks are far easier to use and no need to use pipe cutters modding CE2s
