A little while back I wrote to my MP and MEPs to plead the case of e-cigs and took the opportunity to complain about Anna Soubry's behaviour. My MP, Mark Harper, promised to pass on my concerns to Ms Soubry and to relay her response. Here it is - make of of it what you will:

well??? I'd never heard of the commission on human medicines but a quick google tells me it's the MHRA so now she thinks the mhra is the government?

The expert group whose advice she says she follows, have all been outed in The Times, as having vested interests. Shares in various pharma companies that produce products such as nicorette and champix. There is no way that the advice received was anything but bias, due to the clear vested interests of those involved, so there is nothing reassuring about her letter at all. Maybe you could show your MP the article in the times that gives the names and details of the vested interests of the expert panel she refers to.

Every time Anna Soubrey opens her mouth I'm left pondering whether she's a compulsive liar or just incredibly stupid.
Here she goes again. This time she's insinuating that nicotine is worse than heroin or cocaine.

The woman really is mad isn't she?? I'm quite offended that she says my nicotine addiction is worse than heroin or cocaine. In what world is vaping worse than shooting up??????
