Has anyone got 2 year old liquid that's been kept in the freezer ? How has it faired ? Has the colour changed or smell ? I am coming to the end of some 2 year old liquid that I stored in a cool dark place, amber glass bottles, filled to the top and it's just not vapeable now. The stuff smells pretty strong, old tobacco stench There's not much left from that batch,so not much loss but i'd love to know how peoples freezer stored liquid is doing.

@krazykc is this Nic base or prepared (nic/pg/vg/flavour) ejuice you are talking about? If Nic base, you got me worried as I was considering freezing some for use when the big ban comes.

From all that I have read it apparently lasts indefinitely in a freezer ... do you reckon this is correct?

@freefromsmoking Just like you and many others,i'm certainly hoping so. Everything I've read says it should be ok in the freezer but the proof is in the pudding so to speak.I should have thrown a bottle in there years ago ! Bloody meddlers ;-)

Just found someone on another forum who has 20month old liquid freezer stored. Seems hey ok with the colour only very slightly changed and no funky smell or taste. That'll do me

I'm using eliquid that's been stored in the fridge and freezer, both flavoured and plain nicotine base and it's absolutely fine Ckc. The flavoured eliquid is over 2 years old. It could be the flavourings in your eliquid that haven't had such a great shelf life.

I use old liquid all the time, the stuff I bought in the beginning of my journey, in November 2011, basically to get rid of it. It sure changes a bit, I would call it "well steeped", but it tastes like it should. That doesn't say it tastes well, though =) I am also mixing old Inawera base from January 2012, which hasn't changed at all and old FA base that's fine too.
All my stuff is just kept dark, not in the freezer or fridge.

Hmm, I have some vg nic base that I doubt I'll use unless I really need to. Is there anything specific I should do to store it for the long run? Fridge or freezer? Just chuck it in?

Ok cool. Any particular bottles, tops and other tricks? As in do I just fill it right up to the top?
Thanks again.

If you've not got a large amount, then it's worth popping into a local chemist and seeing if they'll sell you a few glass medicine bottles Loud . . . although say they're for Aromatherapy if they ask why you want them. I don't fill mine up to the top, makes it easier to decant off and shake to re-distribute the contents.

I don't keep mine in the fridge, just in a cupboard in my aircon office How long is the life of the juice without having it in the fridge?
