I've been boasting about my vaping to a friend and the subject of recoiling came up and he said it should be easy enough soooooooooo I've decided to give rewicking/coiling a go with my evod and T3s and this is where you guys come in.

I''m wanting a vendor uk based to buy everything I would need to do this. I hear theres a hollow wick so I can put a paper clip through to help wicking around ? I also hear 2mm would be my best bet ? Also what wire to buy as I have no idea, kanthal ? What size ?. If someone could link me to the actual item pages it would be a massive help. Muchos cheapos is always good and for my first venture I wouldn't want a years supply. There seems to be so many options on the supplies sites it's a bit overhelming. Also anything else I might need and pointers would be good.

I know i'm high maintainence and I really do appreciate all the help I get from you all.

I have been playing about with protank heads for the last few days, same as the T3 heads.

I tried ekowool and silica and what I have found works well is 3mm silica and 0.2 Kanthal.

I will give stainless steel a try during this week to see if it is any good.

Its a good starter kit I think for the money, took 3 days to arrive and will keep you going for around a month or so I guess.

From there you can just order individual items as you require.

Personally I used Stealth vape for my silica and wire, . 20 kanthal and I bought a meter of 2.5 and 2 silica, tend to use the 2.5 on my protank heads but both work fine. Also, and it might just be me, but I just wrap the wire onto the wick without any pins or clips. I admit I do carp fish so it's very like tying a hook link/rig.

I have found that 1.5 silica wrapped 4 times with Kanthal A1  0.2mm gives me 1.8 ohms on my Evods 1.5 silica wrapped 5 times with Kanthal A1  0.2mm gives me 2.2ish ohms  ( no need for a flavour wick either)
However you can try Ecowool which at 3mm can either have silica strands inside or not, all this and more from the below supplier.

Some folks say they have had problems with them, but never had a problem myself..( If you do, PM me and I'll give you the General Managers name) LOL

Using my 1.5 doubled, never had to use a pin,paperclip.

Enjoy  (Tip: save the wick trimmings from your attempts to use as flavour wicks if you need them)

For most of my stuff i use the following:

0.2 Kanthal (Clicky)
2mm Ekowool (Clicky)

Get raid2506 to send you a resistance tester if you have a multi-meter, they sound great for making sure you do it to 'spec'.
