I use a fine sewing needle when coiling too - it does make a real difference, you can wrap the coils quite tightly to ensure they stay where you want them, and sliding the needle out enables the wick to 'relax' a bit, as mentioned above.
1.6 will be a good ohm rating for a coil - sounds like you are nearly there zeldamum, another couple of goes and you'll be vaping like a champ too

Think I give up.

Manager to get 2.1 ohm checked the coil was glowing nicely, put some juice on the coil, vapour coming off the coil nicely, but not clouds of it. Put the top back on and nothing, no vapour

Made about 5 already this evening time for a vaping session with my evod.

I should be here til about 5, but I may have to rush out and shut the shop as my puppy got run over this morning so I had to rush over the the house he is staying at so we could both take him to the vets, waiting for a phone call from them early afternoon.

Thank you very much chykensa for your help this afternoon, lovely having a catch up with you as well.

Thankfully the puppy is fine, a few stitches and grazes but no signs of any major injuries, how we don't know. He was hit by a car going somewhere between 25-30 mph and went underneath it, the car drove over the top of him. One very lucky puppy.

Glad we managed to brave the hailstones on your roof and get the IGO-L running, and also really pleased for you that the pup is OK too!!
