Kanthal A1 Ribbon Wire

Ordered an RSST so going to try it with ribbon wire. Out of these which two should I get? I don't like to vape Sub- Ohm(Getting a mech so Really don't want to be vaping sub ohm) , Trying to get around 1.6 - 2 Ohm on about 3 - 4 Wraps, If Possible, Which one should I go for?

0.5mm x 0.1mm 30.2
0.6mm x 0.1mm 22
0.7mm x 0.08mm 21
0.7mm x 0.1mm 19.6

I've got the 0.5x0.1 which gives me 1.2 on 4 wraps and a bit under 1 with 3 wraps
So I would say go up one in that row? 0.4x0.1

I would go with the .3 or .4 as the .5 needs a lot of wraps if you want 1.5 and up ohms.

If you run a 2 ohm coil on a mesh wick with a mech mod you may find that the coil takes a little time to reach temperature as the battery starts to drain

The benefit of a .5 - 1.3 ohm coil is that the coil heats up very quickly on a mech mod

If you're looking for the higher resistances I'd go for the 0.3 ribbon.

2 turns gave me 1.2 ohms
3 turns gave me 1.5 ohms
4 turns gave me 1.8 ohms iirc

But its also worth bearing in mind what blakey has said.. I would be aiming for between 1-1.3 ohms with a mech mod personally.. I'd only be looking at higher resistances if I'm using a regulated mod..
