Hello again! After my first thread asking for advice on upgrading from CE4/Ego, I decided on a Vamo and this is what I bought link Thanks chykensa (except I can't get the drip tip to stay on the DCT but that's another story I guess!) Glad you are pleased with the Vamo, Sal, I still love mine! You have had plenty of advice on batteries, and I too use the unprotected Panasonics from FT, so nothing new to offer! I have found that not all drip tips are equal - it might be worth trying another one in the DCT as another make might fit a bit more snugly. You can pick up plastic or anodised aluminium ones from many vendors for 2 or 3 quid. Hi chykensa, yes I am very happy with my Vamo and am very grateful to you for giving me the link, I would have faffed about making my mind up for ever otherwise! I've put a couple of stainless steel drip tips in my FastTech cart that i hope will fit a bit better, I must admit that since using the Protanks I really don't like plastic tips at all! Thanks again for all your help Sal

You're most welcome Sal, that's what this forum is all about I really can't trust myself to add things to a FT cart, otherwise my OH would divorce me on the grounds of squandering funds! I have Protanks now too, and love them. I wasn't too sure about the metal tips to begin with, but I quite like them now. How I will feel about them in the middle of winter is anther thing entirely!!

Hahaha there are distinct advantages to being single!! Trouble is it means I have no one to rein me in and save the bank balance I just tried a new juice in a clean CE4 with a plastic tip, and I really didn't like the tip, in fact I think it makes my mouth sore now which makes no sense! Maybe we need to invent a device to warm the metal drip tips in the colder months,we might make a fortune - or not
