As much of a shock as it was for you all, what a great way to go. On the beach doing something he enjoyed, no pain or suffering, no horrible decision to be made by his owners. I would have given anything for the dogs I have had to put down over the past few years to have just gone suddenly doing something they enjoyed. That is really why it hasn't been painful for me, He died Doing what he loved, He went quickly, and he died with all of us around him (Apart from my sister who lives 500 miles away), So he was around his family. |

Sorry to hear this but at least he went surrounded by his family and doing something he enjoyed. Our pets become part of the family and it is always very sad when they pass on.  |
