Had been toying with building something a bit different for on my desk to hold my mods . From time to time I do a bit of restoration on some vintage tools and had this lying around for ages After a bit of research found out it was made between Oct 1932 and Sep 1933 , So 1st things 1st stripped it and did the restoration was made a bit easier due to It not being the first time someone had restored it , originally it would of been a burgundy colour which unfortunately I couldn't get a colour match for so I did it in the Post 1959 red . Next I made the clamp base from dark walnut and set about making the holder , Needed something to hold my provari , a couple of tanks and a bottle of juice and fit right in the jaws of the vice made the holder also out of walnut also lined the tank holding sections with SS , cut to shape and sanded right down to 2000 grit and stained the wood with engine oil and buffed. I addition to the holder I've just finished restoring this so I can give my ss mods a polish.... I'm told by the guy who gave it to me that it's at least 45 years old. It really was a big job, had to re-wire plus I had to take it back to bare metal before paint, works cracking with the cloth mop on it. Cheers Ad

Nice little grinder and nice refurb , but personally I would reduce the length of mop shaft due to unnecessary leverage pressure on the motor.
