Hi all been looking for a forum to take part in and get some hints tips and experienced advice. Firstly I have had my E-cig for about a month and totally loving it up to the last 24 hours. I have so many questions but I start with one I use the socialites which has been good but the liquid seems to be going darker faster and not tasting as good, so gave good clean out today and now tastes even worse then ever did. Any idea what this novice has done wrong. Thank you in advance

Hello and welcome, essexsoulgirl I have not heard of Socialites so cannot really help but I am sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon. P.S I have just googled them and it looks like they have a clearomiser on them and it looks like they are disposable. You may need to get another one if they are these: www.socialiteszero.com/tank-accessories/accessory-tank-clearomizer-ce4-disposable.htmlHowever, if other tanks fit on them then it may be better to get one where you can change just the head as they will work out cheaper. Hopefully someone will be able to advise you better.

Hi and welcome essexsoulgirl! The system you have uses a standard type of tank (clearomiser) so fortunately you can replace them with a vast array of alternatives at much better prices. The alternatives are also 'rebuildable' rather than disposable, which means you only have to replace the 'head' (the wick & coil bit) which again works out much cheaper. This link will give you an idea of what's popular at the moment

Hi and welcome Pretty much what Kailey said It sounds as if the coil that heats the liquid is bunged up which is destroying the taste and as its a non rebuildable you can t replace the wick and wire. They seem pretty pricy on that website so if you google CE4 clearomiser you ll find them cheaper(but its worth upgrading to another clearomiser) but that would keep you going short term You ll get loads more replies tomorrow and best of luck and well done on stopping smoking

These might be worth a punt at £1.90 inc postage they are a bargain as long as they work properly ! no point going into rebuildables for that price just use for a week and throw it away !

Any idea what this novice has done wrong. Thank you in advance Hi there, Firstly it sounds like your atomizer went to the big atomizer in the sky, and it probably took your liquid with it. If the coil at the top is bad it can taint/burn the liquid in the tank, if the burnt liquid mixes with the good clear liquid it will taint the good liquid with a burnt taste.... I get it terrible with the coffee flavour and need to change the liquid in the atomizer and clean out my tank daily. (But i am a heavy user, so not usually any liquid left when cleaning). try getting a ce5 atomizer as you can buy the heads for about £2 each after you've bought the initial tank for £5 (prices are probably wrong)(china you can get cheap stuff too $1 for atomizers). I hope this might help you and good luck in the future, i have only been vaping for 4 weeks myself so my information may be way out but i am just trying to share what i have noticed in my e-cig.

essexsoulgirl - hi and welcome to the friendliest forum on the internet!! As everyone wakes up you will be bombarded with information, but the bottom line is that atomisers have a finite lifespan after which they begin to get 'funky', as yours has done. You've already had some good advice regarding replacements which will fit your battery, so I'll just say please keep us posted, and don't hesitate to ask a question no matter how silly it appears to you - we've all been where you are now, and will be able to help you get the best from your gear and your wallet! Andy
