Protank 2 with ss mesh & kathal ribon wire

Thought I would check out what the hype was with the protanks and got myself one that arrived today.
Not being a fan of silica I decided to go with a ss mesh and some nice 0.5 kathal ribon wire.

After 1 hour of fiddling and 5 coils and 2 wicks later, the results are in!
A 1.2 ss mesh coil that's absolutely wonderful

Gonna be using it as a "juice tester" since the coil and tank itself are a breeze to clean/rinse/dryburn as opposed to a genesis stype device where you have to "sadly" remove the coil if you want to take the whole thing apart and clean

I did however have a burnt rubber taste (that darn insulator) for the first 5 minutes.

Don't forget to put one or 2 of those top wicks on it afterwards.
The thing floods otherwise

I've tried a normal protank 2 head vs a genesis and I must say they have similar smoke abilities (2.5 ohm vs 1.2 ohm) but still favor my old trusty genesis

I've done similar on a vapeonly mega bcc's & that worked a treat too

But only used. 2 wire

Bought some ribbon for my ongoing battles with an AGA T2, so will give it a go on the bcc's I have
