I have pondered how to describe my problem and I have decided that an alcohol comparison may be the best way. I have a pre-made juice that I need to alter. I generally like the taste, and the nicotine content is fine, but I have no problem with it becoming less.
This is my problem - imagine your favourite spirit, and mixer in a glass. The bartender was a bit heavy handed with the spirit, so you still like it, but it kind of burns your throat. This is my problem.
I have a juice that I like, but something in it is just too much, stopping me from using it. I would say too strong , but that may be the wrong terminology.
So you are sat with your Bacardi and coke or equivalent, and the bartender has put much too much Bacardi in. The simple answer is you add more coke. How do I make my juice more palatable, more smooth? I like it , but need to take the harshness away. I have vg, and a syringe, I tried popping a bit of vg into the half empty evod, but that didn't work.

I add about 4 drops of vape wizard to every 10ml of every juice I make ... it tends to smooth out the juice.

Plus one for vapewizard Sammy (I just saved a tobacco flavour i found too harsh with it)
From flavourarts site
Vape Wizard You can make it magic !! MTS stands for Mellow, Thick and Smooth, and it is a major breakthrough in taste technology for PV users. Based on our thorough understanding of taste mechanisms, we have developed a product which we believe will increase the pleasure of your vaping experience. MTS vape wizard contributes toward softening any acidic/sour perception, it assists in making vapour thicker, and it delivers both body and depth to any e-liquid. It can be used on its own, blended with tobacco flavours, or with any other flavour of your choice. There are no limitations as to its versatility. Make your vapour fuller and richer.. Let MTS Vape Wizard work its magic for you! Suggested dosage 0,5-2% Additional notes on Vape Wizard. we developed it starting from a food flavor that delivers aged, woody and slightly smoky notes. The original flavor was formulated to improve mouthfeel and body, especially for liquid foods and some type of drinks. As it worked well in foodstuff, we decided to make a vape version of it. Then we combined it with Magic Mask ( see its features ), which works on tongue receptor and soften the acid perception. So when we tasted and tested VW, we noticed that theory was right and it delivered its promises. It does not influence the vapour properties, nor boost the steam in any way. It works as a food flavor and the substances we used, when used at subtle level, delivers the full and bodied sensation. It is a very delicate flavor, and its action is on perception inside the mouth. It should be used in combination with other flavor from 0.2 up to 1% max. It tends to lower high notes and boost the background notes. It is a complimentary flavor and should not vaped as such, due to the fact it has an undistinct taste. Its main goal is to round off other flavors.

To some extent it depends on the original juice - what make, what flavour, what PG/VG ratio. Put it this way, if the Bacardi in your example was a dirt-cheap own-label spirit, no amount of coke would take the sting out of it's nasty taste. Traditional wisdom says PG = more throat hit and VG = less but it sounds like you have a major reworking on your hands.

Thanks guys, does it taste of anything?? Like I say I like the flavour but it - well it's like too much vodka in with the red bull, I'm not sure how else to describe it. If I didn't like it at all I would give up, but I really do, it just doesn't like my throat.

When I first started vaping I bought kent eliquid, I liked the caramelly, tobacco, but it hurt my throat. When I smoked I could never ever smoke bensons or jps for the same reason, This is the same kind of thing just something in it. I only have 1 flavour I like , now I have found this but it will hurt my throat. It's kinda desperation I know but one flavour gets so tiresome.

I have not found that it has made any difference to the flavour (you only use it at about 1%) .. it just makes the juice smoother. Like comparing blended whiskey to single malt.

I think the choices i wouyld try would be.. 1)vapewizard(minimal messing about with a liquid you like) 2)add some vg (which you ve tried and it obviously reduces nic %) 3)dilute with some non flavoured nic liquid of the same strenth 4)doubt it would help but maybe a little stevia or ethol maltol to sweeten?(i prefer stevia for what its worth) 5)add a masking flavour that compliments coffee(orange, hint of mint, cointreau flavour for a more intense orange.......silly idea maybe but a cream flavour?) 6)Pray to the gods for mercy(but no ones listening) Hope you get it sorted and just some ideas

Slightly more drastic tactic but if you want a good coffee flavour then you could give up on this one and try Lews Brew by Chefs Vapour (milky pleasant coffee) or Organic Coffee by Ace Vapours (black filter coffee). I am very fond of both of them and there's no way the former will give you this issue.
And no I couldn't vape that Tiramisu flavour you sent me either lol

Thanks for the help everyone. I checked out the wizard link, but as I only want a few drops it works out expensive with postage added especially when I am not sure it will give the desired result either. I will keep a look out on the classifieds. dinamic22 and dreamylittledream that tiramisu would need a bucket load of wizard to save it
