Hi Neil, Does sound easier, will have to try it out. Long holiday or work? Either way hope your somewhere warmer n less grey than here:) Being the impatient type I'm gona see if can find some bamboo wool elsewhere in meantime, shame ain't clocked this earlier! Cheers Rich Ps still loving the G's buddy, made some twisted .25 coils with it yesterday, used screw to hold wire and just kept spinning the device. That is a great tip Rich, I am in Goa for a month, on hols, 33°......but the Kingfisher is nice and cold. Cheers Neil Jealous!

Credit to lairey please he found the site. I looked for yonks and couldn't find a European seller, exempting greigster of course, selling at a reasonable delivered cost. Nice to see some more opinions/reviews on micro coils, I've only read a small number, a couple say best thing since vaping others tried but not impressed!

I think it is like everything when it comes to vaping, "orses fa courses" Some like it and others, not so much. For me, it can taste a little funky for the first 10 or so draws, but then there is no taste other than the juice, even if I have boiled it first! The advantage is they it wicks as good as cotton wool and the thickness is uniform, so makes things easier for threading through the coil. Neil

Micro coils are pretty easy to be honest, as well as you have tweezers, and they keep there shape well when re-wicking cotton. Not made non microcoils though so can't say for sure. Just remembered.. I ordered bammboo wool from link last week (or week before )... should be here soon. Finding cotton easier and easier with every attempt now though mind so might be pointless now, will try it out still though. and Greigster I got fed up of twisted wire quickly didn't clean up so well with dry burning in between wick changing and a bit of a PITA to try and make a microcoil out of to be honest.

Greigster , great service dude, I'm very very suprised by the bamboo wool. Used it my Russian, wicks like a beast and I swear my hol Eden has a sweeter note and more depth of flavour.. I thought cotton was the GOD of wicking but I might have been wrong. Recommend this guys. Greigster going to buy 3 lots next Monday so keep me some behind.

Oh no! Are you going to get any more Greigster? I was hoping this would be the solution - my cotton wool wicks are uniformly challenged!

Mods, have tried to change label to "complete" but the labels button is not working for me. Would you kindly move this thread to the completed section please.
Thank you Neil

Sorry loobie, It was such a difficult task sourcing it in the first place from the USA as it was not available here in the UK. The shipping cost more than the bamboo wool.

Will just need to keep practising - apparently practice makes perfect! Not convinced at the moment but then I could never roll cigarettes by hand either, always needed a machine.
