Finally treated myself to some vamp vape, how long do I need to steep it?? Already tried it (sorry!) and not getting the caramel at all yet?

Yeah it's a strange 1... 1st bottle I bought didn't require any steeping. The 2nd and 3rd bottle (3rd was a custom mix) well, neither of them taste the same as the 1st bottle and I have had them close to 3 weeks now although I haven't steeped them with the cap off or in an ultrasonic cleaner.
I just hope the recipe hasn't changed because the 1st bottle was lush.
