if you leave 1-2 mm the wire outside ceramic is ok Ian. The thing you havent to do is to let wire touch the plastic. You have more than 3mm space per side to avoid this.

It looks like i have made mistakes then Imeo,i honestly thought i had done it rite but if burn marks have happened on my plastic part then ive got it wrong

So can i please order a spare plastic part which the ceramic and wires go into then Imeo?I am going to give it another shot if i can get this one part i need.Where do i go to get this part?ive looked at spares on Cams site but cant see this plastic part i need.

Thankyou so very much,i have finally seen the error of my ways :)After looking at the atomiser again it seems i wasnt getting it 100% lined up and also the excess heating wire coming from the ceramic.Oh well,lesson learned and thanks alot for being so understanding.I know i can be a pain in the arse at times,lol.

yours is perfect blue. nothing is burnt and I never had a burnt plastic taste.

read my issues on the UKV thread and you will see that I never had any burnt plastic taste.

Every chance u'll love it blue Imeo seems to think I just didn't put in the time to get it right - he is probably right.

Blue,i would ask Dell if he managed to burn his plastic part,though im sure he would have told you if he had.I must point out that its total USER ERROR and nothing to do with the atomiser.Ive learnt that its essential to get all of that heating wire inside the ceramic,and to make sure all of the little grooves line up.Mine were not lineing up properly which explains my leakage from the connection,it wasnt mega leakage but it was because i had not got it sealed properly ::)Aldo,i totally agree that Imeos help is the best,without his help i would be left with an atty i cant use.I can see my errors now and have learnt a valuable lesson.I will make the atomiser up slowly and carefully from now on and when the kids are all in bed and not nagging at me,lol.

Thx Ian, Dells just pointed out about it. It will be here for when i get home at weekend so i can have a play!

Blue as an ageing female I'm amazed that I've not had the issues that Dell and Ian have had. I've found the whole thing quite easy apart from the tiny O ring that's supposed to go over the ceramic.

I don't know if my leakage problem is resolved as to be totally honest I really don't care. I'll never use it as a tank atty, it's just not my thing. I'm happy to drip two or three times a day, the ejuice in this atty appears to last for ever
