Been to the GP and he gave me: Naproxen Co-Codamol Omeprazole Amitriptyline (Not taking, was on these for quite some time years ago, never again) Headache has mellowed out but as usual got the bad side effects from the medication, i can't even take a Anadin without getting bad side effects....oh well atleast the headache has mellowed He also told me to book a appointment with the Opticians which i have done (next week) and said if it don't go by the end of the weekend go see him again. Also told me to stop playing my game for awhile

I'm glad that you finally went to the docs Romelee, and got an eye test booked. Good to hear that your headache has eased off a bit too. Hope it goes completely very soon. Shame about the side effects though.

A weird way to help migraines I came across which helps (I have a migraine trigger of too much bright sunlight exposure) is having a strong magnet on each temple. Not easy to do since you have to move around as well but before I found my trigger I used to lie in the dark with the magnets on and the migraine would go away faster. The opticians is a must though as lots of migraines do turn out to be correctable by glasses.
The only instant cure anyone has come up with is zapping your head with a focussed electromagnetic pulse, alas this has not even been developed to a mass produced device yet.

Still got it, if i still have it in the morning gonna take a trip to my GP. Ain't played the Xbox for over a year now and have just started playing it again with a new game that come out "Diablo 3" with my son at night for about two hours very close too the t.v.... Think this headache started around the same time i started playing that game, just wondering if it's the massive increase in eye movement causing it. Aint gonna play it tonight and see if that helps. Thanks all for the kind words and advice Romlee - i have condition that if l play certain games on pc at night l have horrendous headaches and my eyelashes rub against the eye when l blink which is part of the discomfort, don't go on the xbox for 48 hours period as if this is the cause it will take that long to totally go away and then you might not be able to go on it in the eve its to do with the general light against the flashing (we can't always see it but it is there) l changed my comp screen and that helped, good luck and listen to what your brain is telling you

So Super-Shiny did you play your game and how is your head today ? You realise of course that if you admit that you played it the sympathy quota will go down considerably !!

As a last resort you could open up your Noggin and re-wick the grey matter and soak the nerve coils in Vodka. Just a thought ..... albeit a somewhat stupid thought. Jag. (Must change my atomizer.)

Oh well, think i might got too the bottom of this headache, i think it was a build up to a full blown illness, last night i had that horrible feeling of a dormant flu type illness, i could feel it in my head and bones, then what i call the "Sneeze of death" happened and low and behold woke up this morning like deaths door, cold, headache, hot sweats the lot, good thing is i can still taste my Apple Pie and Custard
