What's the best gauge kanthal for micro coils ?

Tried my first micro coil tonight using .20 kanthal and cotton from a qtip - tiny coil with 9 wraps came out at 2ohms and fits perfectly in my evods. Vapour and flavour way up but just a little noisy!! Impressed.

Ok so had some peace and quiet so recoiled my protank head with my new 0.3 kanthal that arrived this week.
Went for the micro coil and cotton wool from a ball. 7 wraps as suggested and 1.6ohms, awesome! Letting the cotton soak up that juice at the mo so chuffing on the rsst!
The 0.3 is different to work with compared to the 0.2 but as expected more resilient so makes getting the cotton though easier!
The coil I made up with 0.2 and cotton weeks ago looked pretty good, a bit gunked up but the ends of the cotton was still clean, although I had notice a drop in performance over the last day or so.
Can't wait to try this with with dual coils in my Dripper when I order it next week! Still goto to decide but think I'll go with the Triumvirate as I think it looks cool!

Dual coils rock with micro and cotton, it's been my vape of choice for the last few days, so easy to change flavours by quickly swapping out the cotton.

Still using the same cotton wool in my 2 evods with .20 kanthal micro coil, 5 days now. Can't believe how good they still are. Vaped through absinthe, black gold, maple syrup and ry4, all fabulous. Flavours seem to switch well. So much easier doing this than using ordinary coils with silica. I'm not going back!!

Most peeps just use organic cotton wool balls from a shop and then boil it for 30 minutes and then leave to air dry.
