So this kit doesn't come with a battery, right? ukecigstore.com are supposed to be UK distributors so should get theirs first? (Tell me if I'm wrong) Their video says "recommend the AW IMR 18650 battery" (and show the 2000mAh going by colour), but they're out of stock! The only other battery that says IMR, at ukecigstore.com, is the eFest: Further, the VTR specs say: "Battery : IMR high drain 18650 ( without protection )" Does this mean that higher capacity batteries (than 2000mAh), that are protected and don't say IMR, like the XTAR ones are not suitable?

Protected batteries may send any digital mod funny due to the limitations of the protection although, I never had any problems with my vamo with my Panasonic battery. I plan on buying the 3400mah Panasonic for this... I just hope it fits lol.

Thanks for the speedy answer and, indeed, you raise the other question I meant to - what about fit? Is the AW IMR battery a flat or nipple positive terminal? Will that make a difference?
I'm tempted to wait and see how others make out, rather than pre-order...

The idea of having a Penelope or a kayfun2.1 or a killer/diver in a tank that will sit down the side of the mod and significantly reduce the overall height really appeals to me, what worries me is the status of that 510 connector, if it's made from the same materials as used on vamos and the like then we'll soon find that our £90 mods will be rendered useless as the connector wears down, if it's stainless steel then somebody will have to hold me down Kayfuns and the like wont be able to sit on it as it has a max diameter of 18mm

so 90 quid for revamped mvp and no built in battery ,the old mvp attracted people with built in battery so knock at least £30 off i may then get interested, wonder if they included the funky ecig holder in the package.................http://www.innokin.com/itaste-vtr.html
think innokin may have started to shoot themselves in the foot as of late the itaste 134,is proving a fail seeing lots coming up forsale 2nd hand ,got a feeling this well may bomb to

People are trying to compare this with the mvp... it's not an mvp this is for people like myself who don't want a fixed battery but don't want a long tube mod. This is compact with plenty of room for most devices and the 510 connection is ego threaded and expandable so in theory, anything will play nice with it.
It's VW VV with a battery indicator and a fire button in the right place and also gives you the ohms reading.
What more could you want?
I love it!
