Sorry for misinformation - FastTech now have authentic coils only in 5-packs. When I ordered three weeks ago they had genuine also in 15 packs (and I got three boxes that, in side-by-side comparison, are exactly Aspire boxes). The clones are nowhere near the quality. Glad I bought 15 authentic ones.

I just stocked up on authentic and clones from FastTech. The clones are not good - the bottom section pulls out too easily (leaving the positive wire hanging out of the silicone) when the tank is unscrewed. These are much more expensive than before, but if they match the 'authentic' ones I got they look reliable and genuine (except for the missing hologram): [edit: sorry, I changed my link because the 15 pack at FastTech is no longer genuine ones. Do Aspire do 1ohm heads for the Atlantis? I thought the 0.5s were the only ones available? I don't think they're official ones. I ordered some from FastTech. |

Silicon is an element, silicone is what they make bakeware from, silica is a mineral (and synthetic) compound of silicon.

Since I got some good advice on the thread, could someone suggest a good high drain cell with good capacity? Preferably available from somewhere that doesn't need PayPal or waiting two weeks hoping to avoid a customs surcharge or confiscation.
